Measuring the Impact of Festivals and Events: An Evaluations Network Webinar
Join the AMaGA Evaluations National Network and Paul Limoli, IER Research, for a webinar all about measuring impacts of large and small-scale events and festivals across a range of areas, including economic, social and cultural impacts on a range of audiences and stakeholders. Understanding the value that your events and festivals bring to your region is an important part of securing Government and corporate support – for events of all sizes.
Dr Lynda Kelly: Dr Kelly is Director of Lynda Kelly Networks, a consultancy specialising in strategic planning, market research, stakeholder engagement and learning/education across the culture and tourism sectors as well as Government and the private sector. A well-recognised and sought out consultant and speaker on research, visitor experience and digital engagement, Dr Kelly has worked in the cultural industry for over 35 years. She is the Convenor of the EVRNN.
Paul Limoli: Paul Limoli is Partner and Owner of IER Pty Ltd, a consulting business that specialises in the provision of strategic consulting services to the sports, events and tourism industries. Over more than 20 years, IER has provided economic, social and cultural impact assessments for a wide range of clients including Visit Victoria, Tourism, Events Queensland, Destination NSW, NT Major Events and Events ACT, to name just a few. IER also works closely with a number of galleries and museums throughout Australia.
Lynda and Paul recently collaborated on a three-year program measuring impacts of 12 major festivals and events across the Northern Territory.
