Branches are state and territory-based groups, by signing up to be an AMaGA member you are automatically part of your local branch and will receive e-news from your branch. Members can subscribe to any state and territory branch newsletter through membership preferences, which can be useful when looking for professional events when travelling interstate. All branches welcome visiting AMaGA members from across Australia to in-person events, and most online state or territory branch events can be accessed nationally.
As per Clause 35 of the AMaGA Constitution, office bearers and committee members of active sub-divisions of the association (ie: branches, chapters or national networks) must be current members of AMaGA - either individual or the named representative for an AMaGA member organisation - throughout their committee term. Membership of national networks is also only open only to current members of AMaGA.
