For museums and galleries:

First Nations:  Provide a space for the sector to discuss cultural safety and awareness through education. Implement and support initiatives related to the First Peoples Roadmap and National Standards.

National Voice: Champion diversity within the sector and support industry awards that promote equity on a national scale.

Strengthening Capacity: Implement and support the new National Standards for Australian Museums and Galleries with reference to access, diversity and inclusion. 

Inside AMaGA:

Employment policies and practice within AMaGA updated to a level that models inclusivity for the sector. Website assessed and optimised for accessibility.

Allow options for new and existing members to identify on their membership forms, and review data in relation to diversity in our membership

Championing audience diversity research

Establish inclusive forums facilitated by AMaGA, bringing together diverse communities to collaborate, share, and collectively shape cultural safety and equity
