The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA) is seeking an innovative leader to manage its Digital and Media Operations section. The Senior Manager, Digital and Media Operations will lead a large team of technology specialists in the transition from format-based preservation and client copying services to an end-to-end integrated production environment, with a strong service oriented approach.

The successful leader will be forward-thinking, self-motivated, and adept at leading people through change processes. Applicants must demonstrate a strong background and significant achievements in digital production and/or the preservation and management of cultural collections, in the AV industries or other relevant industries. Tertiary qualifications in museum studies, librarianship and/or records and archives management, or equivalent comprehensive private and/or public sector experience in the management of digital media assets are highly desirable.
