OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The National Gallery is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual with ticketing and customer service experience to join the Visitor Experience department.

The Ticketing Coordinator is responsible for ticket builds in the Tessitura system for National Gallery exhibitions, programs and events and providing support to users of the system across the organisation.

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated knowledge and experience using ticketing systems and databases, ideally in an arts or cultural setting. You will be skilled in organisational and time-management, with an ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work autonomously as well as part of a team. You will bring a positive and flexible attitude and enjoy working in a busy environment.

The Marketing, Communications and Visitor Experience portfolio works to attract and engage diverse audiences, grow earned revenue to support the Gallery’s work, position the brand, and create inspiring and memorable experiences for everyone who visits.

The Ticketing Coordinator role is a full-time role but negotiations to provide a flexible or job share arrangement can be discussed at interview should you be shortlisted.

The Ticketing Coordinator position reports to the CRM and Ticketing Manager, Tessitura, and is an ongoing role and part-time or full-time options can be negotiated if found suitable.
