The National Gallery is in the process of completing a catalogue raisonné documenting Tyler’s compete catalogue of editioned prints and multiples 1985‒2002. Each edition or unique work of art is documented in an entry that provides general information about the work, such as title, date of publication, media and dimensions, as well as details about the people and processes involved in making the work.
The Kenneth E Tyler Assistant Curator, Kenneth E Tyler Collection, Catalogue Raisonné will complete all cataloguing and documentation of Tyler collection material from 1985‒2002, and assist in and contribute to the publication of the Kenneth E Tyler Collection Catalogue Raisonné. The position may also some provide administrative and curatorial support to the Kenneth E Tyler Collection, part of the International Prints, Drawings and Illustrated Books department.
This position assumes some curatorial experience. It involves a substantial level of cataloguing and documentation, primary and secondary research, the ability to meet agreed operational and strategic targets and to establish and maintain strong and meaningful, internal and external relationships.
This is a full-time, non-ongoing employment opportunity available for 12 months within the Curatorial Department, Artistic Programs Portfolio. The position may be extended due to operational requirements.
