In late March 2021, the Australian Space Discovery Centre (ASDC) will open on the ground floor of the McEwin Building in Lot Fourteen, Adelaide. The ASDC will be a space discovery centre where the Australian community, students and visitors will have a unique opportunity to engage with the latest innovations in space technologies and expand their understanding of Australia’s role in national and global space activities and missions. It will also provide information and indicative career pathways in the space industry.
The Australian Space Agency has an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to lead the ASDC. You will work collaboratively as part of the Agency’s Leadership Team. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and contribute to a productive workplace in a complex and challenging environment with competing demands. You will demonstrate your ability to forward think and effectively lead your team. You will be able to represent the Agency at the highest levels.
This role is based in Adelaide central business district. The position will be a non-ongoing position for 18 months with an extension option of 2 years.
