The Sovereign Hill Museums Association is one of Australia’s leading independent not-for-profit museums. Our diverse business is driven by the passion and purpose of all who work for us as they create the visitor experience that makes Sovereign Hill an internationally-renowned, award-winning cultural tourism organisation. (Our business structure includes the following key operations: Sovereign Hill Outdoor Museum, the Gold Museum Ballarat, Sovereign Hill Hotel, AURA – the newly-launched evening sound-and-light show – and Narmbool, a pastoral property where we operate environmental science programs for school camps and a function venue.)
On the cusp of its 50th Anniversary, Sovereign Hill receives over 700,000 visits annually and is about to invest in a master plan to lead our organisation forward. If you are resourceful, ideas-driven, collaborative in nature and driven by a desire to contribute, you will be attracted by the opportunity to join us in this exciting new phase of our development.
