The Visitor Concierge and Retail Support Team is a newly created team that will focus on providing a high level of customer service and support within Australian Parliament House (APH) to our occupants, parliamentarians, visitors and guests from when they first enter the building until they depart.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who enjoy offering a high level of customer service within APH who can be flexible to work across a range of different customer service focused areas within the building.
We are seeking candidates with skills in problem solving, conflict management along with strong administrative and organisational abilities who are effective communicators and like working in a team environment.
Successful candidates will work within the Visitor Services Team and report to the Assistant Manager Visitor Services, Assistant Director and Director Visitor Experience. The successful candidates will be experienced in operating within a busy environment and be able to progress key priorities.
The positions on offer will accommodate full time, part time and/or casual work. Some positions may necessitate the need to work a bandwidth of hours between 8.00am to 8.00pm (approximately) on sitting days only and also weekend work maybe required on an as needed basis.
Please note: This recruitment process will be used to fill current Visitor Concierge and Retail Support Officer vacancies. A merit pool may be established and candidates successfully placed on the merit pool may be offered future roles within 12 months of the Gazettal date.
