Join the WA Branch Committee.

The WA Branch of AMaGA is based in Perth but reaches across the entire State. There are over 250 members in WA and many more cultural workers who regularly engage with or seek support from us.

The WA Branch Committee provides oversight and strategic direction to the industrious team of staff, as well as bringing their own specialist skills to bear on advocacy, events and sector support.

Being on the Committee of this not-for-profit organisation is a great opportunity to understand and contribute to the arts and cultural sector at a whole new level. It is a voluntary position that requires a generous contribution of your time and skills to drive the strategic direction of the organisation, maintain financial stability and navigate a clear ethical pathway for the Branch.

As an AMaGA representative you will have the opportunity to engage with leading cultural professionals, attend industry openings and events, become a public advocate for the value of collecting organisations and influence the strategic direction of the Branch.

To join the AMaGA Western Australia Branch Committee you must be based in WA, but not in Perth. Regionally based individuals are encouraged to apply and will be supported with virutal or dial in meetings, as well as having the opportunity to represent AMaGA face-to-face in their region.

Nominations are open until 5pm (WST) on 16 June 2021. Voting will run from Monday 21 June until Sunday 4 July and is open to WA financial members only.

For full details on the WA Branch Committee, and the requirements of nominees please visit the WA Branch website.

A Committee Info Session will be held on 10 June at 5.30pm (WST) for those who wish to know more about the Branch and role of the Committee. Please register your interest here to receive a link to the virtual meeting room.
