The judges said: I enjoyed the way this app combines questing-style play, a variety of pre-existing learning resources and the ubiquitous popularity of gifs to create a new way to explore this exhibition. The fun design complements the style of the app

The judges said: Really fun and simple "game", of choosing between simple selections. Very suitable for an upper primary and early high school audience, with lots of amazing archival image and video. Clear up front instructions on the game play. Easy and fast back tracking to explore different choices without leaving the game.

The judges said: The mirroring of the brutalist new brand in stark black and white across the site does a great job of highlighting the art and the content. The What's On calendar redevelopment is very elegant and easy to use with the different categories of program clearly delineated. Similarly, the On Demand archive functionality is impressive given the number of assets on offer; well-laid out and very intuitive.

The judges said: Easy site to navigate with a real museum education feel. Content rich with many bite sized pieces to explore. The design isn't particularly revolutionary but it works well and would be familiar to the youth and education audiences. The documentary 'Triceratops TV' broken down into bite sized pieces also works well for online consumption and the play section would appeal to the target demographic.

The judges said: This is a beautiful looking site - and is particularly lovely to navigate on a desktop. There are some very nice details in the way features draw across each other, the image rollovers on the artist list and way video has been integrated.
