Floor talk: Activism: forces for change in Canberra
Join an exclusive curatorial and conservation tour of Activism: forces for change in Canberra exhibition at the Canberra Museum and Gallery.
Exhibition curator Rowan Henderson will guide us through the exhibition followed by insights from National Museum of Australia (NMA) Conservator Nicki Smith about the treatment of the large protest float in the exhibition. Nicki will spotlight the way the NMA used this loan as a test case for lending objects containing hazadous material — lead paint.
