Experimental escapades in collaborating: behind the scenes of Starstruck

It was messy, it was fraught, but the idea was worthy!

In 2014, the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia and the National Portrait Gallery joined forces and embarked on a seven-year project to produce Starstruck: Australian movie portraits – the first major touring collaborative exhibition of its kind.

Join NPG Director Angus Trumble, NFSA General Manager of Collections Meg Labrum, and the exhibition curators as they laugh about the path that was and lament the roads not taken, to deliver the landmark exhibition that came to fruition this summer. Bring some popcorn - this could get interesting!

A facilitated panel chaired by Angus Trumble, Q&A followed by an exhibition tour.
