Article Club: The Museum of Innocence
Get together to discuss articles (and sometimes videos and podcasts) relevant to the GLAM sector – just like a book club but with less reading!
This month we’ll be talking about The Museum of Innocence. It’s ‘a museum, based on a novel, based on a museum, where the objects of the protagonist’s obsession come to life.’
This museum concept will inspire discussion around the purpose and potential of museums. For example, Orhan Pamuk’s opinions about museums expressed in The New York Times article – do you agree or disagree? And from a more personal perspective: What is your first ‘museum memory’?
